Smart Meat was founded at the intersection of high-level science and deep operational knowledge of the meatpacking industry. We are a technology company focused on innovation, data, and sustainability in the animal protein chain.
Animal Scientist and Food Engineer, PhD from the University of São Paulo (USP/FZEA), with two postdoctoral fellowships: one in Meat Science & Technology at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (USA) and one in Animal Production at USP. With over 20 years of experience in the Brazilian meatpacking industry, she is a collaborating researcher at USP/FZEA and a national reference in beef quality management.
Smart Meat was recognized among the Top 30 startups of the Prêmio Sebrae Startups 2026, Brazil's largest national startup competition, and is one of the Top 3 finalists in the Agribusiness & Field Ventures category.
